Abstract

The study of political organisations and participation has long been central to Australian political science and remains a key focus among APSA members. The Political Organisations and Participation (POP) Standing Research Group builds on this strength by fostering new generations of scholars engaged in high-quality, original and topical research in the fields of political organisations and participation, including political parties, interest groups, non-membership advocacy organisations, movements and social media, but it is not limited to these specific subfields.
