Pete Hay Early Career Research Prize

Nomination Guidelines:

• The Prize is awarded to the best full paper by an early career researcher (up to 5 years since the award of the PhD at the date of the start of that year’s APSA conference, allowing for career interruptions) on environmental politics to be presented at the APSA Conference.
• To be eligible, papers must be the length of a standard journal article or book chapter (typically in the range of 7,000-10,000 words plus references). Very brief papers and notes from presentations will not be considered.
• Entrants must be a current financial member of APSA and a member of the Environmental Politics and Policy Research Group.

• The Environmental Politics and Policy Research Group reserves the right not to award the prize in any given year.

Award Details:

• The winner will be announced during the Group’s annual meeting at the APSA conference.
• The award includes $250, funded by the Environmental Politics and Policy Standing Research Group on the basis of a generous bequest from Pete Hay, and a one-on-one feedback and mentoring session with the judging panel for publication during the conference.
