Funding Opportunities

APSA provides members with access to the following funding opportunities. To become an APSA member click here.

  • Annual Research Workshop funding - APSA provides funding each year to assist with the running of two or more eligible workshops proposed by APSA members at their respective Universities. Applications closed 20 March 2026.
  • Caucus and Specialist Group funding - APSA provides funding for activities that help promote Specialist Groups and Caucuses as well as the discipline of Political Science more broadly conceived. 2026 funding applications have now closed. APSA will release details for 2027 funding in due course.
  • Conference travel bursaries - A funding opportunity to support annual conference attendance. Priority funding is given to APSA members who are PhDs and ECRs.
  • APSA Carer Support for Conference Attendance - Available to provide financial support to APSA members with additional caring responsibilities that arise from conference attendance.
