Political Theory

The political theory group aims to promote research and teaching in political theory and political philosophy in Australia. The group is pluralistic in its orientation and members’ areas of interest include the history of political thought, democratic theory, continental philosophy, contemporary analytic philosophy, and decolonising political theory. The association’s aim is to provide a forum for promoting working that is of interest to members and for building research connections, particularly through an annual conference and other events.
