Call for papers and panels now open! APSA Conference 2026

APSA is  delighted to announce that the call for papers (and panels) for the 2026 Australian Political Studies Association conference is open.

Individual papers can be submitted here, with abstracts up to 500 words. Please choose the most suitable research stream for your proposal.

Full panels can be submitted here, with panel abstracts up to 500 words and options to include a chair, authors, discussant, and paper abstracts. Please choose the most suitable research stream for your proposal.

The deadline for proposals is 11.59pm Friday 3 July. 

We are excited to welcome you all to Geelong, Victoria from 24 to 26 November 2026. Details about bursaries for students and early career researchers will follow shortly, but in the meantime please find more details about this beautiful part of Victoria here (including travel options).
